Today it is warm in the UK.

This is a major event for us so I feel it must be mentioned.

This stuffy mild Spring temperature reminds me of college in particular for various reasons so I was going around today thinking all nostalgically about it and getting sad because there’s some nice bits I miss inbetween the mental illness, insomnia and heartbreak-recovery. Fast-forward a bit and I find myself sipping away at a Pepsi Max, doing some online career maintenance, using advanced search methods to make sure my online profile is all clean and sweet just in case any future employer is smarter than your average google-r…and I find an old blog from college-era. One that I completely forgot about.

I’ve been blogging in various ways on different platforms since I was about 12 (nearly ten years! oh my gosh) so I wasn’t too surprised but it’s still a little strange that I should forget something that was relatively recent.

So now I’m sitting here in bed, drinking Pepsi Max, reading a blog I wrote about how I used to sit in bed, drinking Pepsi Max while sad.

Things don’t change as much as I think they do, heh.

Now I’m going to listen to Radiohead’s In Rainbows and possibly The Postal Service and Patrick Wolf just to really let the nostalgia sink in, eheheheheh. And then dose up on another billion painkillers because my uterus hates me.
